Phil Scott
Managing Director Phil Scott joined Links House in 2019, belonging to Aberdeen, Phil spent a number of years working in luxury hospitality in the Far East and Asia before the call of the Highlands brought him home. An enthusiastic golfer and part of the Dornoch Cricket Club, Phil loves to be outdoors and on rambles with his family. Sofia Telo
Sofia's smile has become renowned at Links House since she arrived from Portugal in 2023. Our Operations Manager has most certainly brought the sunshine to Dornoch and is always present to greet our guests, ensuring they have the most memorable of stays. Sofia takes great care to ensure that the Hotel runs like clockwork, being a great support to her team and the guests.
Fraser Carruth
A much-valued member of the team, who has welcomed guests since our earliest days, Fraser can often be found in the dining room at breakfast, making sure each morning starts off in the best possible manner for guests. The Highlands have been home to Fraser for many years, and when not making sure Links House is running smoothly, you can find him with his much-loved Labradors exploring the Highlands.
Front of House Brigade
A team which puts hospitality at the heart of its operations, our Front of House team make sure each service at MARA is truly unforgettable. With a passion for providing great service, they’re wonderfully multi-talented, and you’ll often find them performing traditional Scottish music, to great acclaim from guests.
Kitchen Brigade
Our Kitchen Brigade are some of the most passionate foodies you will meet. Each member brings their own ideas and enthusiasms to the kitchens daily, and you’ll find a team working to celebrate the best of Scottish produce in a busy kitchen, where there is always something on the go. Working with the ethos of 4S+0, the brigade seeks to ensure each dish served is Scottish, seasonal, sustainable, and slow producing as close to zero waste as possible.
Todd Warnock & Elizabeth Chamberlain
A huge lover and ambassador of the Scottish Highlands, Todd had been a regular visitor to Dornoch for years before he made it home. He first discovered our original Manse House in 2005 and it took until 2013 for the first guests to enjoy a stay at Links House. A keen golfer, historian and horticulturist, Todd has laterly turned his attention to developing his homestead farm, Seaview, and its formal Gardens.
Elizabeth and Lady (their much loved Labrador), made Sutherland and Seaview Farm her home in 2020. Elizabeth has been instrumental in keeping Todd on track with progress on the farm and leads the charge with beekeeping and planning the lavender field. A keen painter, Elizabeth has a penchant for interior design and has often been seen around the greens at Royal Dornoch.
